1 pound ground beef
1-1/4 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped green pepper
2 (16 ounce cans) black eyed peas, drained
1 (16 ounce) can whole tomatoes, undrained and chopped
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/3 cup catsup, optional
Cook ground beef, onion and green pepper over medium heat, until beef is browned. Drain
grease. Add remaining ingredients and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 30
minutes, stirring often. Serves 6.
