Peach Aspic
1 envelope plain gelatin
1-1/2 c. water
1 c. orange juice
3 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 c. sugar
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. peach Jello
1-1/2 c. mashed fresh peaches
Soften plain gelatin in 1/4 cup cold water. Dissolve both plain gelatin and peach gelatin
in 1 1/4 cups boiling water. Add orange juice and lemon juice. Add mashed peaches, sweeten
to taste. Pour into 6 cup ring mold and chill until set. Serve with cream cheese dressing.
Cream cheese dressing: 3 ounces cream cheese, 1 mashed peach and 1 tablespoon mayonnaise.
Cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Add mayonnaise and mix well. Add peach and mix. Fill
center of mold. |
